The fifth and final climb of Pentaquest 2013 is happening this weekend: Central Oregon's Diamond Peak. Although it isn't known for its technical difficulty, Diamond Peak still tops out at a solid 8,744 feet.We'll head out early Friday and camp at Crescent Lake near Willamette Pass. On Saturday we'll drive to the trailhead, climb the peak and descend back to Crescent Lake for a second night.
You can follow us on Saturday via a SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger. Weather permitting it should be an epic hike. Look for a trip report when we get back.
